The author argues that the reflexive pronoun type себе си is common to all the Balkan languages. Bulgarian has preserved the Slavic distinction between suus and eius, while Romanian has discarded it like the rest of the Romance languages. Linguistic material from other Indo-European and non-Indo-European languages was introduced for the purposes of comparison.</style></abstract></record></records></xml>
