Two types of possession are distinguished: passive, which is not connected with any action concerning the possessor and the object in possession; active, where the possessor and the object in possession are connected by means of a „hidden“ predicate or a predicate included in the semantic structure of the possessive construction. Some aspects of the distribution of Bulgarian and Polish possessive pronouns are also described.</style></abstract></record></records></xml>
