По въпроса за копулативността на чешкия глагол m{ít в съпоставителен план с българския глагол имам

The author considers the conditions under which the Bulgarian verb имам ‘have’ may substitute the verb съм ‘be’ in the function of a copula. A contrastive analysis is made with Czech, where the Czech verb m{ít ‘have’, preserving its „semantic modification“, i. e. a definite degree of possession, exists as a variant of the verb byt in the function of a copula. The limited use of the copulative имам in Bulgarian is emphasized and the verb is treated in terms of a copula when it’s natural or given possessive relation to the subject results directly from the referent itself.
