| Abstract | The concept and the term internationalism are presented as a term of synchronic linguistics, relevant to the typological and contrastive analysis of languages, while the concept of a loanword is mainly functional in historical lexicology. The interpretation of the morphological and wordformative aspects of the word require a relativization of the synchrony/diachrony dichotomy. |
