Kodikologie und Paläographie im digitalen Zeitalter 3 / Codicology and Palaeography in the Digital Age 3

The increasing number of digital reproductions available online, the qualitative advance in digital reproduction techniques and the development of new digital methods to analyse script and writing support has fostered the interest in the material base of the written cultural heritage. This volume takes up this interest and adds to the two previous volumes on Codicology and Palaeography in the Digital Age research on reproduction techniques, image manipulation methods to enhance readability, lexico-statistical research and databases of writing materials. The volume thus reflects the current state on computer-aided manuscript research.
